EZ Rates calculates shipping rates for your Shopify checkout using the carrier accounts, boxes, products and rules you configure. Rates are estimates based on that configuration and on what the carriers return; the carrier's invoice is final. You are responsible for the accuracy of the product weights, dimensions and classes you provide and for choosing the markup you apply.
You connect your own carrier accounts and are bound by those carriers' terms. EZ Rates stores your carrier credentials encrypted and uses them only to request rates on your behalf.
Subscriptions are billed through Shopify at the price shown in the app. Trials and plan changes are handled through Shopify; uninstalling the app ends the subscription.
We aim to answer every rate request within Shopify's time limit. If carriers do not respond in time, the app returns whatever rates it has, or the backup carrier you configure. Shopify shows its own fallback rates if the app returns none. The service is provided as is, without warranty of uninterrupted availability.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for lost sales, carrier charges, or the difference between a quoted rate and a carrier's invoice.
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
